Critical Thinking

According to Wikipedia.com "Critical thinking consists of mental processes of discernment, analysis and evaluation. It includes possible processes of reflecting upon a tangible or intangible item in order to form a solid judgment that reconciles scientific evidence with common sense. In contemporary usage "critical" has a certain negative connotation that does not apply in the present case. Though the term "analytical thinking" may seem to convey the idea more accurately, critical thinking clearly involves synthesis, evaluation, and reconstruction of thinking, in addition to analysis."

Critical thinkers gather information from all senses, verbal, and/or written expressions. Like for example you have to think critically in order to make important decisions, like where your going to college, if your going to take a year off or what you want to do with the rest of your life. Also you have to use critical thinking in order to write papers for school.

Now that I am ending my senior year, I have to make all these decisions on what I'm going to do with the rest of my life, these decisions aren't easy but since we only have 13 days left hopefully everyone has an idea where there going to go.

In conclusion, Critical thinking makes people think about what is important to them and their surroundings. Everyone has to make important decisions in life at any point in their life. Without critical thinking the world would be much of it is today like for example people driving around cars that they can't afford and debt they can't pay off, so listen here think critically and you can make better choices in life.
